In the first issue of our magazine, we are full of hope. We believe that publishing is a matter of passion. We continue our passion not only in print but also in digital media, through our social media accounts and the documentaries we prepare.
Human life takes place in a social environment within a certain natural environment, and this social environment is the creation of human beings. In this respect, the part of the environment created by man is called culture.
Culture is a complex whole that includes knowledge, art, customs, traditions and similar abilities, skills and habits learned or acquired by human beings as a member of society. In fact, in the most general sense, culture is a way of life.
In other words, it is all the material and immaterial products created and owned by a community in order to meet basic needs such as clothing, shelter, protection, reproduction and the like. Therefore, since there cannot be a human group without culture, the more human communities there are in the world, the more culture there is.
On the other hand, culture is dynamic; it undergoes change sooner or later, slowly or quickly, due to its very nature. This is where the raison d’être of our magazine begins. To record, explain and help preserve the most precious things in the world…
In our first issue, we featured Safranbolu, which is on UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage List. We have brought together almost all the values of Safranbolu in a unity. We would like to thank the Mayor of Safranbolu Elif Köse and the Board of Directors of Safranbolu Tourism Operators Association for their contribution to this work.
On February 6, 2023, we woke up to a great disaster. We were shaken by earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş.
Our Republic has reached its 100th anniversary. I respectfully commemorate the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his comrades and the unsung heroes of our War of Independence. Happy 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey.
